About Coach Hads

Hadlea Shaw athlete and native residing in Wichita, Kansas. Finishing schooling at Wichita State University and will obtain a bachelor’s degree in business administration – Marketing in May of 2023. Hadlea is a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Virtual Coach through the National Academy of Sports-Medicine. Hadlea is also very profound in supplement knowledge. Her sports and competitive background make her a top-notch coach and exceptional leader to those around her. She did competitive cheerleading for 16 years where she won numerous national championship titles. After her competitive cheerleading career ended, she then went on to cheer at Kansas State University for a year. Hadlea then moved home where she became very involved in the fitness community and started an online platform. Over the last year, she has grown her social media following and has influenced many from all over. Hadlea has been an athlete on Team Icon and
has grown tremendously since working with Coach Dan. Although Hadlea has not yet competed, her plans are to do so after she builds momentum and of course when Coach Dan she is ready. One thing about Hadlea is if she isn’t winning, then she’s not doing it.

Coach Hads is very passionate about health and fitness and loves influencing those around her to do the same. She loves to share knowledge with those around her and help them be their best selves both physically and mentally. Her drive and determination to be the best is what set her apart from everybody else. She believes all her athletes are capable of anything they put their minds to with a lot of hard work and execution. Settling is not
an option, and if we are going to be great, we’re going to give 110%. Her goal for all her athletes is to make optimal health goals that are going create habits that will last a lifetime. Being “healthy” isn’t a trend, it’s a
LIFESTYLE.

EXPECTATIONS OF THE ATHLETE

  1. Consistency- I expect you to stay consistent and committed week in and week out to fully maximize your potential. Being consistent with your non-negotiables is important for us to track and make progress.
  2. Hard work- Nothing in life comes fast OR easy, you get out what you put in. I expect you to be willing to step out of your comfort zone to excel. Trust the process along th way.
  3. Communication- I expect you to communicate with me effectively and honestly. To better achieve your goals, upfront communication is essential.
  4. Adaptability- Be willing to adapt to changes that may be made to training, nutrition, cardio, etc.
  5. Positivity- Progress is not always going to be linear and things aren’t always going to happen exactly how we envision. However, it is important to keep a positive attitude throughout the process.
  6. Accountability- Hold yourself to high standards and be accountable for when you slip up.

EXPECTATIONS OF THE COACH

  1. Coach Hads will respond to all check-ins and messages within the day that it was received and provide consistent feedback in a timely manner.
  2. Hads will be available anytime throughout the week to answer questions you may have and will respond within 24 hours.
  3. Coach Hads will always provide you with a training program and nutritional guidance tailored to your needs.
  4. Expect Hads to be all in and supportive throughout your journey! She wants to see you thrive and succeed in all aspects of life.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM COACHING WITH HADS

  1. Nutritional guidance for all athletes. (Macros, Meal Plans, Food sources, etc.)
  2. Resistance training programs and cardio are unique to each individual and their specific goals.
  3. Feedback on training via videos to ensure proper form and execution.
  4. Supplementation guidance and recommendations specific to the individual to optimize internal health.
  5. Detailed weekly or bi-weekly check-ins to assess goals and makes changes if need be.
