About Coach Hads

Coach Hads, also known as Hadlea Shaw, is an athlete and native of Wichita, Kansas. She obtained her bachelors degree in Marketing from Wichita State in 2023. Hadlea is a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Virtual Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is also highly knowledgeable about supplements. Her background in sports and competition, including winning numerous national championship titles in competitive cheerleading over 16 years, as well as cheering at Kansas State University for a year, has shaped her into a top-notch coach and exceptional leader. After her competitive cheerleading career, she became deeply involved in the fitness community, starting an online platform. Over the past two years, she has grown her social media following and influenced many people worldwide to better their health. Hadlea has been an athlete on Team Icon and has shown tremendous growth since working with Coach Dan. Hads is a highly compatible NPC bikini athlete and continues to strive to become a high level athlete in the division.

Coach Hads is deeply passionate about women’s health, focusing on areas such as hormone health, gut health, stress management, and blood work interpretation. She believes in restoring well-being through a functional health approach, emphasizing that being healthy is not just a trend but a lifestyle. Coach Hads loves sharing her knowledge and helping women become the best versions of themselves. Her drive and determination to excel set her apart, and she believes that all her female athletes are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to, with hard work and execution. Settling for mediocrity is not an option for her, and she believes in giving 110% to achieve greatness. Her goal for all her female athletes is to set optimal health goals that will create lasting habits.

Expectations of the Athlete

  1. Consistency- I expect you to stay consistent and committed week in and week out to fully maximize your potential. Being consistent with your non-negotiables is important for us to track and make progress.
  2. Hard work- Nothing in life comes fast OR easy, you get out what you put in. I expect you to be willing to step out of your comfort zone to excel. Trust the process along the way.
  3. Communication- I expect you to communicate with me effectively and honestly. To better achieve your goals, upfront communication is essential.
  4. Adaptability- Be willing to adapt to changes that may be made to training, nutrition, cardio, etc.
  5. Positivity- Progress is not always going to be linear and things aren’t always going to happen exactly how we envision. However, it is important to keep a positive attitude throughout the process.
  6. Accountability- Hold yourself to high standards and be accountable for when you slip up.
